:: Our philosophy |
| |
At Questropix, we make sure that your holiday is not just another outdoor activity, but to make it an experience of a life time by delving into local traditions, cultures, lifestyles – anything that contributes to its unique identity, so that you return home with a real comprehension of what they’re all about. At the same time, we also try to maintain the delicate balance of cultural and ecology of the area by traveling in smaller groups to minimize our impact, and leave only footprints behind, thus making it a beneficial experience for everyone involved. |
| |
:: Quality and satisfaction |
| |
We rely heavily on word of mouth and repeat custom for our bookings, so it is imperative that we give our clients the best holidays possible. Our aim is not to be the most luxurious or the cheapest, but to give the best value. |
| |
:: Feedback |
| |
We have a section in our website under the name “Feedback” which we urge you to fill in at the end of your trip. We rely on your feedback to maintain and improve the quality of our holidays. |
| |
:: Group size |
| |
The maximum size of our group is usually 16. We feel that small groups provide a better social experience for you, and in many cases are essential to preserve the integrity of the more remote places that you visit. |
| |

:: Porters and Sherpas |
| |
Some people perhaps don't realise that they are only getting cheaper deals because the porters are being treated badly. On the trek, it is a common sight to see porters carrying above 60 Kgs!!! And are badly outfitted, as a result they are at high risk of hypothermia, frostbite and Acute Mountain Sickness
All our Sherpas and Porters come form the high altitude regions of Nepal, since they are familiar with trails and snow conditions, at altitudes up to and above the height of an expedition base camp.
We understand that the porters and sherpas are the backbone of trekking and mountaineering.
Thus we ensure that our entire staff are treated well and are properly clothed.
We provide sleeping bags, gortex and fleece suits, Shoes and gaiters, gloves and hats and snow goggles for all our porters. Our Porters do not carry more than 25 kilograms. |
