  Grading
There are many different factors that contribute to the difficulty of a particular trip.

Our grading are based on various factors such as duration of walking per day, altitude, trail conditions, climatic and weather conditions, level of difficulty of trail etc. Although we have tried to make our grading system as clear as possible, it cannot take into account your personal interests, abilities or experience. If you have any questions about the nature of a particular trip or its suitability for you, please contact the Questropix.

Grade 3 - Leisurely

Most part of the treks is relatively easy but there can be a lot of stony steps and uphill and downhill which is of course common in the Himalayas..These trips include 5 to 8 days trek which is predominately on good paths and at low altitude. These walks can be 4 to 5 hrs each day.
Suitable for people with a sound health and reasonable fitness . Still a little training prior to trek is required so you can do it without much difficulty.

Grade 4 - Moderate

Suitable for most hillwalkers and generally involving shorter days at moderate altitude, on good paths and tracks. However ,at times The trail can be moderately and could involve long and very steep uphill and down hill.A reasonable level of fitness is required.
Anyone in a good physical condition can participate on these treks. Physical training for at least 3 times a week, for 2 months prior to commence of trek will be very helpful for you to enjoy the trek to the fullest without facing much physical problems and fatigue.

Grade 5 - Demanding

physically very challenging, but suitable for regular hillwalkers who are used to extended days..Involves walks at high altitude (5500m+). Most of the days are 5 to 6 hrs of walking with a couple of days which requires longer walking.
The trail can be difficult at times eg. while crossing Glacier moraines, long and very steep uphill and down hill and also when we cross high passes. At higher altitude, during nighttime, the temperature can get down to min of -5C during early Autumn and late Spring and can get down to min of -12C to -18C during mid Winter. These treks are between 14 to 21 days of walking.

Good physical condition is essential and physical training for at least 3 times a week, for 3 months prior to commence of trek will be very helpful for you to enjoy the trek to the fullest without facing much physical problems and fatigue.

Grade 5+ - Strenous

Our toughest treks, involving many long days, often in isolated areas and at extreme altitude. These treks might also include difficult pass crossings, A high level of fitness and previous trekking experience is essential.
We strongly recomend you to undergo physical training atleast 3 months prior to the commence of such treks.

Grade 6 - Extreme Challenging

These are equivalent to extremely demanding and challenging treks in the remote areas and climbing "treking peaks".
Participants should have at least a basic knowledge of the use of ice axe and crampons, though first time climbers maybe accepted , provided she/he is very fit . Medical certificates are required prior to acceptance on any such trips.
We strongly recomend you to undergo extensive physical training atleast 3 months prior to the commence of your trips.
